The Next Shed by Eberspaecher business innovation division is further expanding its strategic partnerships in the field of mobility solutions. With two minority stakes in the start-ups Flybotix and Nüwiel, the emission control and thermal management specialist headquartered in Esslingen is opening up new technologies and markets.

Together with Eberspaecher Kalori, Eberspaecher is presenting innovative solutions for emergency vehicles at RETTmobil 2020 (Hall 7, Stand 711) – and not just in the field of heating and cooling. With the Eberspaecher connectivity solution, fleet operators can network different components and integrate individual digital services. The Esslingen-based thermal management experts have now added Energy Storage Systems such as the Xellstor auxiliary battery family to their product portfolio. These enable a self-sufficient energy supply for the vehicle. Efficient fuel operated and electrical heater solutions ensure that heat is quickly and constantly available.

For its new generation of electrically powered vans, StreetScooter GmbH – a subsidiary of Deutsche Post – relies on reliable heating solutions from Eberspaecher. Depending on the type of vehicle, electrical high-voltage heaters or ethanol heaters are used. The thermal management experts behind these innovations are thus making an important contribution to the quiet, environmentally-friendly mobility of the future. This development underlines Eberspaecher’s competence in implementing efficient heating solutions for electric vehicles with various requirements.
