Hengst is expanding its offering for the independent automotive aftermarket with two new services: The Hengst Secure Label allows the authenticity of products to be verified directly via the packaging. At the same time, Hengst is offering a five-year warranty on certain products. Both services are designed to provide customers and repair shops with additional peace of mind and strengthen confidence in genuine products and their quality.
“We want to not only supply our customers with products, but also give them added peace of mind in their day-to-day business. With the Secure Label and the extended warranty, we’re creating services that make our quality promise visible beyond the product itself,” says Guido Schneider, Director of Aftermarket Sales Europe.

The new Hengst Secure Label was developed to make it easier to identify genuine products and to combat counterfeiting and gray market activities. A QR code on the packaging enables direct verification. After scanning it, the user can check whether the product is an original Hengst product. At the same time, the verification process leads directly to further information about the specific product. In this way, the Secure Label combines product authentication with an additional digital service.
With the new five-year warranty, Hengst is expanding its warranty commitment for products that are not subject to a defined replacement interval. For registered repair shops, the warranty on these products is extended to five years. Registration will be available starting at Automechanika 2026. New product groups, such as water pumps, can also benefit from this offer.
Both initiatives reflect the goal of ensuring that genuine Hengst products are traceable and trustworthy for customers and repair shops. At the same time, the extended warranty is intended to send a clear signal of Hengst’s confidence in its own products.
The new services were unveiled at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 and are part of the ongoing development of Hengst’s offerings for the independent automotive aftermarket.
