Digital ADAS calibration platform expands connected workshop capabilities

Hella Gutmann Solutions has introduced the CSC-Tool PRO, a fully digital platform for calibrating advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), now available in key European markets. The system combines automated alignment, cloud connectivity, and guided workflows to support workshops in meeting increasing technical and regulatory requirements associated with vehicle automation.

Automated calibration with integrated digital alignment
The CSC-Tool PRO integrates two 3D cameras that enable automated digital alignment of calibration targets and reflectors, reducing manual setup and improving measurement accuracy. A central panel PC connects to a cloud database to access continuously updated calibration specifications and manufacturer targets, ensuring current vehicle data and seamless integration into workshop processes.

An 86-inch rotatable Ultra HD display with anti-glare coating supports large-format calibration targets, including XXL targets required by certain vehicle manufacturers. An optional Chassis PreCheck function automatically verifies axle geometry prior to calibration, helping minimize potential misalignment and reducing the risk of incorrect calibration results.

Flexible solutions for radar system calibration
For radar-based ADAS systems, the platform offers multiple configuration options. An adapter compatible with the Radar Kit I EVO with angle adjustment plate provides a compact solution suitable for smaller workshops. Additionally, the free-standing “Radar-Tool” allows flexible positioning and supports calibration of modern front, rear, and side radar systems, including applications found in premium vehicle platforms.

Guided workflow and complete digital documentation
A structured, step-by-step workflow guides technicians through the entire calibration process, from vehicle identification and system setup to target positioning and measurement procedures. This approach aims to reduce errors and ensure consistent, reproducible calibration results.

All calibration steps are digitally recorded, including vehicle identification data, calibration parameters, and complete fault code analysis. The integrated reporting capability creates comprehensive documentation that supports traceability and compliance with workshop standards.

Connected ecosystem for scalable workshop operations
The CSC-Tool PRO forms part of the broader Hella Gutmann ecosystem, enabling integration with diagnostic platforms such as mega macs X, mega macs S 20, and mega macs PLUS, with planned compatibility for macs Remote Services. Calibration data can be incorporated into unified diagnostic reports, supporting connected workflows across service operations.

The system can also operate independently of proprietary diagnostic devices and supports third-party solutions, providing flexibility for different workshop infrastructures. Two licensing models, including a free option, are available to accommodate varying operational needs. Future updates include the planned introduction of 360° calibration capabilities for surround-view systems, extending the platform’s functionality as ADAS technologies continue to evolve.
