FIVES TO SUPPLY MULTIPLE GIUSTINA VDD GRINDING MACHINES FOR HARD COATED BRAKE DISCS TO EQUIP MAJOR EUROPEAN AUTOMOTIVE OEM

This specific process is based on proven industrial technology for conventional iron brake disc grinding, combined with the expertise of Giustina and Daisho, new working parameters and new abrasive wheel specifications.

In the past months, Fives has completed numerous tests in their facility located in Turin, Italy, to meet the grinding requirements of the new, dust-free composite coating material in terms of quality, performance, and production costs. These successful achievements have led ETXETAR to place a multi-machine order for several production lines, which will manufacture new, low particle emission coated brake discs for one of the major European Automotive OEMs.

In addition to their facility in Europe, Fives also performs demos and test grinds in their Korean workshop to support their Asian customers with coated brake disc challenges.
