Gasoil filtration 
Protecting the engine from dirt, rust and corrosion, as well as separating water from the diesel: these are the basic functions of diesel filters. A filter system consisting of a pre-filter and two diesel filters was developed for FORD TRUCKS. The pre-filter, fitted to the 9 and 12.7L engines of Tractor, Construction and Road vehicles, including Tractor Cargo and F-Max, performs a primary filtration function: filter the coarsest particles and separate water from the fuel. The pre-filter media is developed with the unique FormulaUFI.H2O, which allows 95% higher filtration efficiency for particles up to @25 µm. It is available in the Aftermarket catalogue under UFI code 24.028.00.

For the second stage of filtration, the diesel filters come into play. To enable the vehicle to operate optimally for up to 120,000 km, UFI Filters has developed a module consisting of two screw-on diesel filters. The internal filter media in FormulaUFI.H2O guarantees a filtering efficiency of up to 99% for particles down to 4µm. Aftermarket parts are available under UFI part number 24.166.00. UFI Filters has also developed a kit for regions with cold climates which can be found under UFI part number 24.163.00.

Oil filtration
The oil filters fitted on FORD TRUCKS 12.7L engines for Tractor, Construction and Road applications – Tractor Cargo and F-Max – are designed to prevent wear and tear on engine components by preventing damage and costly forced vehicle stops.

It is a dual filtration system with a traditional design: two spin-on filters working in pairs, mounted on a robust housing with resistance to pressures exceeding 20 bar. In the UFI Aftermarket catalogue, the replacement part is available under code 23.572.00, and has a filtering efficiency of >99.5% for particles up to 12µm. The technological value of the product lies at its core, given by the exclusive FormulaUFI.Stratiflex, a filtering media that consists of several layers and represents one of the most revolutionary formulations developed by UFI. Applied to oil filters, it guarantees maximum filtering efficiency together with longer filter life.

UFI Filters also supplies as original equipment for 9 and 12.7L engines the transmission oil filter with filter media in FormulaUFI.Micron, with an efficiency of more than 99%@ for particles up to 12µm.
