The Technology Group, Rheinmetall, is systematically supplementing its automotive product portfolio in the direction of new driveline systems. In addition to products for electric vehicles, current development efforts include components for alternative powertrains, such as the fuel cell. Within this context, Rheinmetall Automotive is developing a recirculation fan for hydrogen not yet consumed within the fuel cell stacks, special coolant pumps for 400 and 800 voltages, and electric valves.
BENTELER has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Automobili Pininfarina GmbH, an offshoot of the world-renowned Italian car design company Pininfarina. Together, the companies will develop a platform for electric vehicles, which will form the basis of Automobili Pininfarina’s future range of luxury electric cars.

It is an inevitable must for the Dutch government to rapidly start adjusting the system architecture alongside the Dutch motorways. Aerotech, provider of high-performance motion control and positioning systems introduces the AGV-SPO, a new high-performance Galvo Scanner. It offers a larger field of view than conventional 2D scanners, reduces laser spot distortion, and is flexible enough to accommodate a wide range of laser wavelengths thanks to a large variety of mirror surfaces. As a result, the laser scanner is suitable for a wide range of applications, from additive manufacturing to medical devices.
